My mission is to stimulate speaking and open communication. It is the basis that brings people closer together and creates real connection. Language opens, language connects and language enriches.

 

That is why I often pay attention to interlanguage, it is an informal language between the dialect and the official standard language. Interlanguage is very commonly used in Flanders because it feels much more natural and authentic. Knowledge of the interlanguage is therefore very important for real communication.

 

Unfortunately, interlanguage is not included in regular NT2 education. This explains why many students still do not understand their Flemish colleagues and friends well, even after several NT2 modules.

 

I like to take the necessary time to listen to my trainees and get to know them. It helps me to provide an answer to the needs in their specific situation and it is essential for offering a tailor-made learning path. It is my greatest satisfaction when I see my students successfully evolve through my personalized approach.
